The Sybarites is one of the projects by transcontinental art group Soltsetsvety famous for their psychedelic performances and sound experiments. The duo - Sterechuvak 'Stereodude' (Unceasing and Incomprehensible) and Monochuvak 'Monodude' (Ruthless and Non-Reciprocal) - are the creators of a reality ruled by the laws of indeterminism and fancifulness. The Sybarites music is built upon truly subjective perception based on their deeply personal reminiscences and cultural recollections. "A long way" album is a dreamy broadcast brought to you by a switched-on radio while you were fast asleep.

The material taken at the plein air sessions in the forest near Minsk, in the Karelia dunes, in the Dam Square in Amsterdam, during open air event near Saint Petersburg and in the cabin of a getting-off aircraft is used for the record. The instrumental part and vocals are recorded in The Sybarites studio in the town of Korolev near Moscow.

Stereochuvak and Monochuvak also take part in Magical Unicellular Music Movement.
