Mungos Hi Fi have been releasing hits since 2001 when their killer tracks 'Wickedness' and 'Ing' (featuring Brother Culture) first took the world by storm getting heavy plays by Jah Shaka, the late great John Peel and Mr. Scruff. Sound System Champions spans a broad selection of musical stylings from Ska and Rocksteady, through Roots and Steppers, to Rub a Dub, Digital Roots and Dancehall. Heres a 3 live hour session recorded last month at the Glasgow Artschool. Session starts with Mungo�s for one hour playing forthcoming SCRUB A DUB dubz then goes on to DISRUPT and SOOM T playing all the latest Jahtari riddims with Soom T laying down some serious vocals, then it goes back to Mungo�s for the final hour. Zeb and Scotty, 2 wicked mc�s touch the mic in parts who spar like veterans, pure quality.
